The July CFMC Meeting - Edgebrook Field House

Satellite Demo.at Brandys Restaurant
Douglas Anoman KC9MLN is going to give a Satellite Demo.
July 25, 2009 sometime Saturday morning at Brandy's located 4 blocks South of the I-55 Cicero exit at the corner of Archer and Cicero at 52nd. Street. 
Doug will be covering frequencies,software and different types of
antennas that are used to make contacts with the satellites.
He will have hand outs for those intrested in satellite communications. Doug will try to do a "live" demo, weather and
also live satellite passes if permitting. He has sent out  e-mails
to "all the stations" letting them know about the demo coming
up at Brandy's Restaurant. Everyone is welcome to come to
the demo. You do not have to be a ham operator. Hope to see

CFMC is chartered by the State of Illinois as a "NOT-FOR-PROFIT" corporation dedicated to technical improvement and public service within our community. The club is guided by four officers and five directors who are elected by the general membership for two year terms.


Membership is open to all licensed Amateurs and is recommended for those who use the CFMC repeaters. Annual dues are $25.00 ($15 for those 65 and older, 18 and under who are full-time students or those who are club members for at least 20 yrs).
